Earlier this month I had an amazing opportunity to go to a workshop in Phoenix with some photographers who are truly an inspiration to me! My beautiful cousin lives there, so we decided to have her engagement session while I was visiting! I was dying to have a change of scenery - I love Houston, but I needed to spice things up a bit. Perfect right?! You know what's even more perfect? This location and sunset!

I was scouting locations hundreds of miles away while I was still in Cypress, and was confident that I had found the perfect spot in Phoenix. Luckily, they put their faith in me and went along with all of my ideas - including wearing this awesome pink skirt! (Which I have in my CMP Closest for my clients to use) This was my first time meeting her fiancé, and he is just as great as she is. They are so sweet together, and I truly wanted to do my best and capture this exciting time in their lives.

I have to say....I am beyond thrilled with how these turned out! I hope they cherish these for many years to come. And I have officially decided to make Phoenix a once-a-year trip for photo sessions. Who wants to join me next year?! Haha!! - But really...
